Oksana Yu. Naumova

Oksana Yu. Naumova earned a PhD in Genetics in 2008 from the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics of the RAS (VIGG). The main scientific interests of Dr. Naumova are in the field of human population genetics and epigenetics. Her ongoing research focuses on understanding the role of dynamic interactions between the genome\gene pool and environment in the development of genetic diversity of populations and psychophysiological phenotypes of individuals. Currently, Dr. Naumova is a Senior Researcher at the VIGG and an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale Child Study Center (USA). She has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications in the field of gene geography, palaeogenetics and epigenetics. At the Laboratory of Translational Sciences of Early Childhood of the SPbSU, Dr. Naumova leads the studies of neurohormonal and epigenetic indicators of children development in various social environments.
